Junior Achievement volunteer. I do not give advice to invest in this environment, but as a workforce readiness coach I teach high school students the basics of investments and how they work from a bi-partisan wholistic standpoint. I break down the importance of investing without directly telling any of the students what they should do. This is a nonprofit that does not have a physical location that I know of, or rather that I have been associated with. As a volunteer, I appeared at schools as needed. I did a total of 2 sessions in February of 2025 at Athens Drive high school in Raleigh NC. The 2 sessions may have ran for a total of 2 hours each. - Black student athlete summit Fellow - Invesment related - There is no physical address of the organization - As a fellow of the summit I gave workshops on the importance of investing to student athletes across the country from a non-partisan standpoint. The goal was to emphasize the importance of investing to the student athletes. - Fellow of inaugural fellow class - I started this position in May 2024 and it ended in May 2025 - The amount of hours devoted varied as it changed from week to week and was not on a specified schedule. A firm approximate would be about 10 hours a week. - As a fellow I built out the framework for the fellow program while focusing on the financial literacy part of the summit. I provided myself as a non licensed resource to understand the world of investing through giving the students workshops to understand financial language and strategies without giving them specific recommendations.
