Attended conference of the non-profit who supported us and recorded a podcast with them. No money changed hands, they donated their services to us. Back in July 2024, Dan Houston & our CHRO (Jon Couture at the time) gave me the go-ahead to work w/a few other volunteers to stand up a pilot program - backed by The Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine for 240 employees at Principal. We worked to get this ready & launched on Jan 7, 2025 and ran the 16 week health recovery program through April 2025. Since then, we have continued to support the participants through a Teams chat and occasional Teams meetings. In August 2025 I travelled to Washington DC with a few of our participants to attend PCRM's International Conference on Nutrition in Medicine. I attended sessions, was not a speaker, nor an exhibitor, and only there to learn. Our team and I were invited to share our Owning Your Health story on their "Exam Room" podcast.
