I work part-time for a private tutoring service called Scientist Academics. The position is remote (work from home) but the business address listed on my 1099-NEC is 226 Upper Ferry Rd Ewing, NJ 08628. The business is not investment-related and only concerned with providing private tutoring to students k-12 or college (undergraduate or graduate) in math, science, or standardized test preparation. My official title is "mentor" and I have primarily tutored middle school and high school children in math, physics, and standardized test preparation such as the SAT and SHSAT. The number of hours I devote varies since it depends on how many students I have at a time and the frequency of our meetings but it could be anywhere between 1 hour a week to 5 hours a week, typically in the evening during the week (5pm onwards) or any time on the weekend.
