I am a service member in the United States Army Reserve (USAR); Not investment related; located at 4600 Foxtail Pl, White Plains, MD, 20695. The nature of units in the USAR is to train and prepare civilians as soldiers in order for them to be called upon for full time military service as and when determined by the Department of Defense. I am a 1st Lieutenant quartermaster officer and am tasked at the unit to lead a section of soldiers in supply management and logistics-related tasks in order to enable mission success. I attend "battle assembly" one weekend a month and a two-week annual training each year; On average, this amounts to 17.33 hours a month. Occasionally, my unit requires that soldiers attend on some Fridays before a typical weekend duty schedule. Three-day battle assemblies occur approximately 50% of the time in our monthly FY calendar, averaging to 4 hours a month where I am required to be absent from my civilian employer during trading hours. This calculation does not include the two-week annual training we conduct in July, which requires I miss two consecutive weeks of trading hours.
