AL'S BIKE DRIVE POSITION: Board Member NATURE: The Toys for Tots program extends back to the late 1940's as a charitable program of the United States Marine Corps. Al's Bike Drive directly supports two Marine groups who distribute toys throughout Allegheny, Butler, and Beaver Counties as well as throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our bicycle drive helps fill an important role for children in the Toys for Tots program. Bigger ticket items must be donated directly to the Marines as they are limited in what they can spend to purchase a toy. We raise money and buy brand new bikes that we give directly to the Marines.
