Ms. Solcher is a member of two family entities which are member managed. The entities maintain accounts with UIC but Ms. Solcher is excluded from entering into contracts or otherwise acting on behalf of the entities unless directed in writing by the Registered Agent. Ms. Solcher does not receive any compensation for her role in the entities. Ms. Solcher spends approximately 1 hour a month on this activity. This activity creates a conflict of interest with clients. The conflict is mitigated because the Firm and its IARs will abide by the firm's Code of Ethics and will always act in the best interest of every client. Ms. Solcher also serves as trustee on a trust, where this trust is a client of the firm. In addition, Ms. Solcher serves as Co-Trustee for two family members whose revocable trusts are also UIC client's.
