I am currently assisting the Treasurer, Greg Rosoff, at the Spring Lake Hope Foundation. s 501 (c) organization. My role is not investment related, it is book keeping. I will be an authorized signer on the bank account and I am being asked to write 10 - 15 checks per month to pay invoices for clients and bills related to fund raisers. TD Bank is a $10,000 sponsor of the foundation and they are very supportive of the community charity. The address is 852 Franklin Ave., #115, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. SLHF pays for medical related expenses, not covered by insurance, for children with rare illnesses and special needs. Life enhancing therapies, adaptive equipment and wheelchair accessible vans, including home modifications. My position is bookkeeper and my only responsibility is to write checks and forward an email to the Treasurer that it has been paid. The people that run the foundation are in my community and I have know them for a long time. I have been attending the fundraising events over the last 4 years. The start date of my position will be after it is approved by my manager, the bank and Finra. I have committed to two hours of work per month. I will not be devoting any time during my work day/ trading hours. I have specifically stated to the foundation that I will only write checks for invoices that have been approved. The Treasurer, Greg Rosoff, has stated that he normally writes 12 - 15 checks per month.
