I have three voluntary positions. The first is with the Appalachian Mountain Club (since 2013), this is a non-profit organization, and I am Board of Advisors. I receive no compensation. This club promotes enjoyment of the outdoors in New England and New York state. I spend about two hours every six months attending meetings and providing broad strategic direction to the board of directors and the investment committee and the advisory board. There is no security-specific advice given nor any direct money management, but rather a focus on broad investment trends and their impact on the club's endowment and finances. The second is with Randolph Church, Randolph NH (since 2005), this non-profit organization engages in philanthropic activities and I am on the Board of Directors and the Finance and Investment Committee, I receive no compensation. I provide broad strategic direction, there is no security-specific advice given nor any direct money management, but rather a focus on broad investment trends and their impact on the church's endowment and finances. The third is with the Randolph Mountain Club, Randolph NH, which is a non-profit organization.
