I am an independent, non-executive director of Mt Logan Re, Ltd, 141 Front Street, Hamilton HM 19, Bermuda. I was nominated to the Board in February, 2022. Mt Logan Re is an affiliate of The Everest Group, and is a Bermuda reinsurer; it is regulated by The Bermuda Monetary Authority. Mt. Logan Re has third-party investors, all of whom are Qualified Institutional Buyers, but Mt. Logan is not organized as a fund. In my role as non-executive director, I have an oversight role in the operations of Mt Logan Re, but I do not have a role in evaluating reinsurance treaties or claims or cash management. I attend three board meetings per year in Bermuda and each meeting lasts approximately two hours, and the meetings take place during US market trading hours. I devote an additional four hours of work per month on Mt. Logan business, but outside of trading hours. I also participate in approximately six hours of telephone calls per year, some of which may take place during the trading day.
