Mr. Peterkofsky has two investment-related business activities beyond his investment advisory practice. He is actively engaged in trading securities in his own account and, as a passive activity, also owns a single rental real estate property. Both activities are operated from Mr. Peterkofsky's home and, in aggregate, they consume approximately 80 hours per month of Mr. Peterkofsky's time (including approximately 20 hours per month during U.S. market regular trading hours). Ownership of the rental real estate is a passive activity occupying less than one hour per month. As such, most of the time consumed by these activities is due to securities trading. It should be appreciated, however, that the time spent on trading securities for Mr. Peterkofsky's own account is not additive to the time required for managing client accounts. Rather, substantially the same research and operational tasks apply to both activities. Therefore, this does not represent time or attention that is "taken away" from management of client accounts. Mr. Peterkofsky has been trading securities in his own account since 1987 and has operated the rental real estate property since November 2019. Mr. Peterkofsky does not hold any employment with or partnership in any organization beyond his own investment advisory practice.
