Mr. Boren owns and operates Oak Creek Accounting & Financial Services LLC, where he prepares 30-40 tax returns each year. The tax returns will consist of individual, partnership, s-corp, trust, gift, and private foundation tax returns. He anticipates dedicating 15-25 hours a month with most of the work taking place outside of trading hours. Oak Creek Accounting & Financial Services LLC is a separate and unaffiliated business from Root Financial Partners, LLC. It is not a Root client service, and Root does not supervise, endorse, or receive compensation from the tax preparation work performed there. Clients of Oak Creek are not necessarily clients of Root, and clients of Root are not required to use Oak Creek's tax services. Clients who choose to engage Oak Creek should understand that the tax services are provided independently of Mr. Boren's role as an investment adviser representative of Root.
