I own my own CPA business, Dale Mason, CPA & Co. In this business I perform international tax consulting services for US citizens abroad and foreign nationals in the U.S. When a client needs tax preparation services, I refer the client to one of two accounting firms and then perform a final quality control review of the return. For this work, I typically receive 20% of the total invoice. I am a licensed insurance agent in Virginia. I obtained my license in 2019 and have not made any commissions yet as I will begin this business in late January, 2020. I will mostly sell term life insurance and long-term care insurance.
