1) ALTGELD COMMONS LOFTS CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION POSITION: Member of Board of Directors NATURE: The homeowner's association of a condo building where I own a property requires 5 active Managers. One of the Managers quit and there were no volunteers, so the board of directors approached me to join and I agreed. Association meeting December 14, 2022 by the existing Board Managers, as I did not run for election by the HOA owners earlier this year. There is an existing Board President, Treasurer, Secretary, as well as two additional 'floating' Managers, of which I will serve as one. There is a management company tasked with selecting service providers, making payments, and bookkeeping and an outside accountant that handles the tax return. The Treasurer is tasked with supervising transactions and reviewing the books and records as provided by the third-party management company. For now, I do not have direct oversight of these transactions. If this changes, I would amend my OBA disclosure.
