Further, the plan will help define and set achievable steps to implement many strategies identified in the Strategic Plan adopted by Council earlier this year. I am one of 12 people they city manager and city planner asked to participate in this steering committee. My understanding is we will provide input and feedback as the city officials develop more specific strategies and programs to implement broad outlines of the new strategic plan. i.e. The new strategic plan calls for a more focused brand and with consistent colors and graphics across the city signage, website, literature. The role of this committee is advisory not decision making so they might share the new materials and signage with this group to get feedback before finalizing and taking to public.
