My wife (Kendra Ryder) and I have purchased a two-unit, residential rental property (effective date of ownership is 11/16/17). In order to limit our exposure of personal assets to liability with respect to the rental units, we have established "Ryder Properties, LLC," with each of us as members of the LLC. The address of Ryder Properties, LLC is the same as our primary residence: 504 Carriage Lane, Hudson, WI, 54016. My core duties will be to collect and deposit rents, calculate and file taxes and respond to general renter inquiries. Any maintenance or repairs that need to be completed will be outsourced to a third party. I expect to devote approximately 3 hours per month to this business. None of these hours will be during securities trading hours or during the workday in general.
