The Purpose of the BAC is to guide the chapter by meeting with the cabinet and the University. As a member of the BAC my roll will be to work with the chapter on education and scholarship opportunities from Baylor University. Adding that I will be advising the Kappa chapter with general advice (what are CDs, FDIC, etc.) Part of my requested new roll will be to be a signer on a bank account. The account has 3-4 signers on it typically and must receive approval from the chapter and Baylor University for funds to be distributed. Baylor University, Phi Gamma Delta Nationals and the members of the chapter all are able to monitor how funds are used and distributed. From an advisor stand point, adding me on as a signer is another level of security so that if the account is compromised I am able to lock it and work with their local bank to re secure the account.
