I am one of the owners of a registered Certified Public Accounting firm in Tennessee. I actively participate in managing the business. The firm provides risk management services to the community banking industry and provides federal and state income tax filing services to individuals and business entities. The firm, Marsh Professional Group, is an LLC and is taxed as a partnership as allowed by the Internal Revenue Code. As an owner, I receive partnership income but I do not receive any commissions from this business.
